Types of Baby Blankets

There are actually many different types of baby blankets and each comes with a unique purpose and can be customized to make a gift.

• Swaddling blanket – this is for a restless baby. Unlike the ordinary blankets, these have fastenings.
• Security blanket – for baby’s comfort and fun. This is not intended to wrap babies and often comes with stuffed animal designs.
• Receiving blanket – the all-around blanket that is typically one square yard long.
• Sleep sack – the wearable blanket that babies can use when sleeping. It is actually a lot safer than using any other types of blankets to warm baby up when sleeping.
